Thunderbird Gallery is very pleased to be hosting a show of all new works by Alan, John, and Robert Bateman. This will mark the first time Alan and John have done a show with him, an historic event to be sure.

Both Alan and John are graduates of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. John has a background in print making and currently focuses on his woodworking skills. His furniture, chest and box making is marked by an exceptional sense of design and attention to detail. Alan's focus is his painting. His style is high realism, painting the intimate world around him.

The show will be a combination of Alan's original acrylic paintings, John's woodwork, and original pencil drawings by Robert. There will also be one original acrylic painting by Robert. The centre piece will be a collaborative work by all three artists. A box built by John , will display original paintings by Alan and Robert on two 11" x 5 1/2" panels.

Opening night will be Friday, July 8th, 2005 at 5:30 with all three artists in attendance. For any further information, please email thunderbird@saltspring.com
