About the Artist
David Wilson is a full-time visual artist based in Vancouver, BC, with a career spanning over 25 years. Primarily self-taught, his practice has been enriched by formal studies at Emily Carr University and a deep curiosity about time, memory, and the evolving urban landscape.
With more than 1,000 works sold and over 25 solo exhibitions to date, Wilson’s layered cityscapes—painted on canvas, wood, and sometimes even cardboard—explore the beauty and impermanence of contemporary life. His work invites reflection, not only on the environments we inhabit but on the fleeting moments that shape us.
David’s paintings are held in private and public collections across Canada, the US, and the UK.
