Dana Irving paints stylized, atmospheric landscapes inspired by the Pacific Northwest. Based in North Vancouver, she blends influences from the Group of Seven with her signature whimsical, sculptural forms — often described as “Emily Carr meets Dr. Seuss.” Her bold, flowing paintings celebrate the drama, movement, and quiet majesty of coastal forests.

Artist Statement

“There is such a joy, for an artist, to connect with your audience in any art form. For me as a painter, interpreting the inspiring beauty of the Canadian landscape in my own visual language is its own pleasure — but to have viewers connect with that language is a thrill beyond measure. It is a privilege to paint this country.”
