Testimonials

Not your average fine art gallery! The artists and pieces chosen were clearly curated with a brilliant and original lens. The owner Kaeli was very helpful and passionate.
Coolest gallery on SS!

I really appreciate the detailed information that Kaeli provided for me about a number of art works that need to be sold for the estate that I am managing.

I recently held an evening reception at Steffich Fine Art for a group of adults who had been on Salt Spring all week for a professional development course. What a great venue for something like this - with beautiful art to look at as a wonderful bonus!

From the time I first asked Kaeli if she was willing to host us, until the last guest left, it was a wonderful experience.

Steffich Gallery has an outstanding assortment of art. Everything from muted local nature works (to remind you of your visit to Salt Spring), to vintage Rock n Roll posters (to remind you-or your parents-of your wasted youth), to blow-your-socks-off pieces (so you can know who your real friends are).

Kaeli gives generous information and the best customer service (even if you’re just a wannabe customer). Enjoy some laughs and mutual inter-dimensional ponderings.

Went in with my vintage prints during the recent open Antique Roadshow event and received great news! Kaeli was very helpful and responded back quickly with her findings. I would highly recommend the gallery for appraisals.

Kaeli was an tremendous help with assessing the value of my piece. She was not only extremely helpful but a great conversationalist as well. Although, we’ve never met I felt comfortable talking openly with her. In the future when I need help buying art, she’ll be getting a call from me.

I purchased a LeRoy Jensen recently, and have frequented the shop numerous times prior to my purchase. Kaeli is a wealth of knowledge, and not the “overbearing” type. I hope to purchase there again.

Visited Steffich Fine Art Gallery during summer of 2020 and was impressed with the collection, presentation and staff. This month I spoke with Kaeli about a Norval Morrisseau painting and she quickly responded to my request professionally and with knowledge of the subject. I'm looking forward to another visit to Salt Spring Island and Steffich Gallery.

Kaeli was super helpful in helping to track down a specific pice of art I was looking for. She was amazingly friendly and very quick to respond. Great service!

What an incredibly unique gallery! Such a special little place nestled on a wonderful island! Aside from the stunning art, with amazing variety, the staff at this gallery are next level. They really make you feel like family, and leave you feeling like you had a truly one-of-a-kind visit. Not to be missed, for sure!

This Gallery is one of the special things about Salt Spring, and one of the things that makes Salt Spring special.

On my first visit, I was literally stunned.

One of the long-represented and featured artists Norval Morrisseau, has an entire wall dedicated to his art in the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario). While I highly recommend a visit to the AGO, you can see great and authentic (!) Morrisseau works at Steffich Gallery.

And, Morrisseau isn't the only renowned artist here. There are many others - internationally, nationally and locally renowned. Like Morrisseau at the AGO, you can also find Steffich-featured wind sculpture artist Lyman Whitaker in the capital of Honduras among other locations.

Beyond Morrisseau, Steffich also has other exceptional First Nations artists.

Salt Spring is a fine art center, and Steffich is at its center.

The gallery isn't overwhelming, its just really good. And, the way it spills over into the neighboring Harbor Air waiting lounge is a real joy if you fly out of Ganges. Best airline waiting lounge anywhere thanks to Steffich (and Harbor Air's great staff too of course).

Steffich is a must see, top ten attraction. You might even find yourself leaving with some really fine, fine art.
