I used to rent a small cabin on Thetis Island, on a hillside. There was a small, clean shack on the property, in which I slept on some summer nights, as it made me feel closer to nature. One night, as I was sitting outside that shack watching the sunset, a nice looking buck came from behind the bushes and stared at me. We were both surprised by each other's presence.
