Carol Haigh is a celebrated West Coast realist painter based on Salt Spring Island, where she has lived since 1955. A lifelong sailor, she draws inspiration from the changing moods of the Pacific Ocean and sky. Working in acrylic with layered washes, her finely detailed paintings capture the clarity, fragility, and shifting atmospheres of coastal water and light. Her work appears in private collections worldwide.
